Mission Trip - Oct 12-14, 2015

Our Fall 2015 Relief Trip was a resounding success as a number of our donor partners overwhelmed us with supplies for distribution across the Navajo and Fort Apache Indian Reservations. Our October distribution is extremely important as the cold weather begins to set in across the Navajo and Fort Apache Indian Reservations and the need for blankets, cold weather clothing and compact nutritional food can be live sustaining.

Thanks to Giving Children Hope, Magnolia Baptist Church, Lotshaw Helping Hands, Love-Lift Ministries, Stitches From The Heart, Trinity Evangelical Free Church Women's Ministry, Union Chapel By The Sea (New Jersey) and all the individuals who supported our effort we arrived at our Holbrook facility on Monday, October 12th, with a trailer packed with blankets, clothing, food, medical supplies, Newborn Boxes, shoes and a variety of other items in support of our Native American partner organizations.

Monday after quickly unloading the trailer, sorting newly arrived supplies with supplies previously staged, we reloaded the trailer and made our first delivery to The Hope Center at Fort Apache… then returned to Holbrook and reloaded the trailer for our Tuesday morning delivery to Gallup NM.

Tuesday morning following our delivery to Wildcat Christian Academy and Bible Navajo Mission we were scheduled to pick up a donation of blankets provided by World Emergency Relief in nearby Manuelito NM. The prearranged donation was for 960 blankets but not knowing what God had planned we left the Native American Dream Center with 1,440 blanket. Adding these to the blankets we already had on the trailer we ended up with a total distribution of 1,632 blankets

Tuesday afternoon we delivered the first hydroponic grow tower to Native American Christian Academy (formerly Sun Valley Indian School) in support of our partnership to introduce agriculture and nutrition to their students and provide additional food support to the school.

On Wednesday we made the final delivery to Pure Heart Bible Church in Kaibeto and headed home to prepare for our Thanksgiving week distribution.

We would like to especially thank the prayer warriors we leave behind as we follow God’s calling. As with all of our distribution trips we cover a lot of miles in a very short time with intense days of loading, unloading and lots of driving… we have not gone unscathed over the years but those experiences have revealed God’s protection and blessings… He is always with us because someone cares.
